 The House Intelligence Committee hearing  featured testimony from ONE of President Trump’s former Russia advisers, Fiona Hill.Hill, who left her White House role in July. According to the media she was expected to testify that Trump’s personal lawyer, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, had avoided the National Security Council process in dealing with Ukraine, CBS News reported.

MIL-ED COMMENT: 

The National Security Council is a White House organization  which was established to assist the president as he carries out certain of his  international and national  obligations.  [Many insiders claim that every president had to establish a similar organization because no president could  trust the inputs coming from the State Department, the Defense Department and  from other government organizations since an overwhelming proportion of these recommendations were parochial and self-serving in terms of mission and turf protection .]

The national Security Council membership, organization, processes and procedures are at the discretion of the then serving president.

Ms. Hill  the president gets advice on Russia from MANY sources including Defense Department, CIA, Treasury, etc. In addition, at his discretion, he seeks advice from personal trusted advisors from academia, industry, politics, etc., etc.

 Ms. HILL,  you worked for the president… He did not work for you. 

Your testimony is, at best , misleading and some of us believe that your testimony is dishonest. 

 WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU SHOULD BE TERMINATED IMMEDIATELY FOR YOUR OVERT INSUBORDINATION  AND THAT ALL OF YOUR SECURITY CLEARANCES BE WITHDRAWN.
